Episode 40: Do You Feel Safe as a Black Woman in America
Hey guys! This is the last episode of the season and we decided to have an open discussion with our friends Kells and Bri from Real Queens Talk Podcast!
This was a question that a viewer had for us. Do you feel safe as a black woman in America? We felt like this topic was so much to unpack. We didn’t even get a chance to fully hit the surface.
There was so much we dived into and much more we wanted to say, but we didn’t have the time. We will probably revisit this again in the future.
Thank you again for riding with us for another season. See you in the fall!

Hello everybody! Happy Belated Father’s Day to all the great dads out there! We know this is late, but we’ve had a lot going on in our lives so were are playing catch-up!
Mel asked if being a great son automatically means you'll be a great dad. Danielle thought this was an interesting, but tricky question. First, we must define what makes a son or a father “good”.
If a man is a mamma’s boy do you think that is a positive or a negative thing when you look at father material?
We want to know your thoughts.
Episode 38: Why We Don’t Trust Most Doctors
Do you feel your doctor has your best interest at heart? Do you generally avoid the doctor’s office at all costs?
Sometimes going to the doctor can feel like a dreadful experience. You tell your doctor your concerns, and they dismiss you.
Danielle and Mel have had some neglectful doctors in the past, which has changed how they view the healthcare system in America.
We wondered if our listeners can relate to our stories.

We’ve all heard the story of single mothers complaining about deadbeat dads or absentee fathers. Of course, some mothers have done amazing jobs raising kids on their own, but what about fathers that are present in their child’s life every single day? Or the single fathers out there raising kids on their own?
Today we have Mel’s husband Teryn on the show to talk about how he feels about being a father and what role he believes a father plays in a child’s life.

Today to help us dive into our topic we have producer, singer, and rapper Gene Stovall. Listen as we discuss why we love creating and how we are learning to get over our creative blocks.

We will discuss advice both generations received from their mothers that we still use to this day! Make sure you give our moms a warm AC welcome!
Episode 23: Should You Start Abstaining from Sex?
Today’s topic was actually suggested by a listener. If you grew up in a religious household, there was a huge influence to keep your virginity until you get married. Well, so many people these days have thrown those teaching out the window. We both did.
In recent times, as people are working hard to figure out self-love, we’ve heard of more females that are deciding to refrain from sex while discovering themselves. We’ve also heard of males that abstain from sex while building business to keep from distractions. Lastly, we’ve heard of couples intentionally going weeks or months without sex in order to deepen the connection between them. Is this really necessary or does abstaining from sex for a period of time actually help to achieve better long-term results?
